Google User Data (Eigen1 for Google Ads)

This section explains how Eigen1, Eigen One's internal advertising application, accesses, uses, stores, and shares data from Google when a user connects a Google account. It applies in addition to the rest of this policy.

Who uses Eigen1

Eigen1 is used only by Eigen One team members to manage Google Ads accounts that Eigen One owns or manages to advertise its own products. It is not offered to the public.

Data we access

When you sign in with Google and grant access, Eigen1 requests the following scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords: access to the Google Ads accounts available to the signed-in Google account.

Through this scope, Eigen1 may access:

• Basic Google account information needed to authenticate: name, email address, and an OAuth access/refresh token.
• Google Ads account identifiers (customer IDs) and account names.
• Campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, budget, and bidding settings.
• Performance and reporting metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and related statistics.

Eigen1 does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service.

How we use this data

We use Google user data only to provide Eigen1's features:

• Viewing performance reports for Eigen One's advertising campaigns.
• Creating, editing, pausing, and optimizing campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets, and bids at the direction of an authorized Eigen One team member.
• Authenticating the user and keeping the connection to Google Ads active.

We do not use Google user data for advertising targeting, to build user profiles, to determine creditworthiness, or for any purpose unrelated to the features above.

Sharing and transfer

We do not sell Google user data. We do not share or transfer it to third parties except:

• With infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting) that store or process data on our behalf, solely to operate Eigen1 and under confidentiality obligations;
• When required by law, or to protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats; or
• As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

No human reads Google user data except: (a) with the user's explicit consent; (b) when necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse; (c) to comply with applicable law; or (d) for internal operations where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

AI and machine learning

We do not use Google user data, including Google Ads data obtained through Google APIs, to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Storage and protection

OAuth tokens and any Google Ads data we store are kept on secured servers, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to authorized Eigen One personnel who need it to operate Eigen1.

Retention and deletion

We keep Google Ads data only as long as needed to provide reporting and campaign management. OAuth tokens are kept while the connection is active. When a user disconnects their Google account or asks us to delete their data, we delete the associated tokens and stored Google user data within 30 days, unless law requires us to keep it longer.

Revoking access

You can revoke Eigen1's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete data we hold, email [email protected].

Limited Use disclosure

Eigen1's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.
